How to back up an iPhone - Backup Your iPhone With iTunes

If you are a user of an iPhone, then most likely you know how to backup your iPhone from iTunes. This is especially true if you regularly use your iPhone on an iPhone-toting laptop or other types of mobile devices.

However, did you know how to backup your iPhone using iTunes and restore it using iTunes on a different computer? That is right. It is possible to do this using an iTunes-emulator program.

These programs will let you backup your iPhone using iTunes and restore it on another mac or a different hard drive without dealing with all the technical aspects of how to backup an iPhone using iTunes.

You can take an iTunes emulator, download one from the internet, and follow the directions. However, do not just do this once; make backups often. Even more importantly, you will need to have your system set up properly for this.

Once you have your iTunes-emulator application up and running, you will need to launch it and drag and drop all of your files, folders, and even other programs onto your computer. Then you are ready to back up your iPhone with iTunes.

At this point, you must remember not to save the backup to your computer, as that may cause problems in the event of a data failure.

As long as you save the backup to your computer’s hard drive, you should be good to go and should then be able to restore your backups using iTunes.
